There are many ways to play GeoPlunge. If you are playing in a tournament, use the tournament rules. If you are playing GeoPlunge at home or in a classroom setting, we recommend you start with the Basic Rules. If you want more challenges, see the Advanced and Ultimate rules at the bottom of the page.
These videos are the same as the Tournament and Basic written rules. If you are not playing in a tournament, you might want to substitute Dashing States Full Team for the Relay version.

For Advanced Rules play, you add a game using GeoPlunge Challenge cards, you sort states by name of capitals and use more information on State cards to give clues.
In the Ultimate Rules, you increase the challenge by sorting states by the order they entered the Union and using more information on all of the cards.
